Savannah in my opinion is the jewel of Georgia and still represents good old fashion “Southern Hospitality.” Savannah has a very diverse population. One can enjoy hearing different languages being spoken in Savannah from French to Spanish and other languages around the world. In some places near Savannah the Gullah or Geechee language is still spoken, which is an English based creole language. Also, since Savannah is a port city international commerce is important to the region. This also draws foreign visitors as well as other U.S citizens to the Savannah area to live and work. The diversities of people and language help make Savannah a city worthy of visiting.
